Press Release of Wenzhou International Luxury Exposition2010
Wenzhou---At 3pm, June 7, 2010, the 4th Wenzhou International Luxury Exposition, organized by Media & Press Center of CCPIT, China Council for Foreign Trade, World Luxury Association, and China Win-win Group, undertaken by Wenzhou Win-win Special International Exhibition Co, Ltd, came to a successful conclusion. The exposition took “experience luxury, devote charity, create harmony” as the main theme. On the opening day, several celebrities and VIP members joined the opening ceremony, including Mr. Yang Xiaodong, Director of Media & Press Center of CCPIT, Mr. Yang Fuqiang, Secretary General of China Council for Foreign Trade, and Mr. Ouyang Kun, Chief Representative of World Luxury Association in China. All of them made high appraisal to the 4th Wenzhou International Luxury Exposition 2010.
Strong exhibitors and Medias
Over 70 luxury brands over the world showed on the exposition. Within three days, more than 10,000 top dives of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Fujian visited the show. On June 5, the opening ceremony attracted attention from many mainstream Medias including Japan NHK, Japan Fuji TV, Xinhua News Agency, Hong Kong TVB, Xiamen Star TV, Zhejiang Star TV, Wenzhou TV, Guangming Daily, Wall Street Journal, FT Chinese Website, 163.com, Wenzhou Evening News, Wenzhou Economic News, Apex Manual, Robb Report, China Entrepreneur, and New Wealth etc. With extravagant luxury brands and broad Media cast, the show broadened the high consuming market in Wenzhou and drove the development of internal luxury consumption market under the background of depressed world economy in 2010.
Jewelry and wrist watches beloved by dives
According to statistics, the turnover of the exposition reached 100 million RMB. Luxury cars and villas still took the greatest part. There were two features in the show: 1. Top watches, Jewelry and health products were highly pursued; 2. The consuming of luxury products of Wenzhou riches changed from showing-off to personal enjoyment. In ShenZhiJiang auction booth, people were crowed in counters of international top wrist watch brands, such as Patek Philippe, Audemars Pigeut, Vacheron Constantin, Rolex etc. According to exhibitors, a Wenzhou local made a reservation of several Rolex on the opening day.
Haute-couture be pursued
Haute-couture took a greater part in the show of 2010 and the highlight was high custom-made cell phones such as French REYN, Motorola AURA, and HANMAC etc. According to Mr. Li Xiangqiang, sales director of HANMAC, more than ten custom-made cell phones were sold within the three days of exhibition. Apparently the consuming capacity of Wenzhou elites was really great.
Wenzhou merchants enjoyed charity work
In the evening of opening day June 5, the Oscar Celebrity Music Party of the 4th Wenzhou International Luxury Exposition, was held in Shangri-la banquet hall. The music party, attended by 500 dives and elites invited by the organizer, was a sparkling highlight of the luxury show.
A charity auction was organized for raising money for a leukemia child during the banquet. Auctions were donated by those concerned exhibitors. The total auction sales of HANMAC mobile phone, French Debauve & Gallais Chocolate, Shandong Weihai Huaheng fishing gear reached 160,000 RMB which was delivered to the father of the child by China Charity Association.
