Christies have announced their spring schedule for Europe and the Middle East, and as ever - it's absolutely packed.
Predominantly operating out of South Kensington, London, the auction house will see a vast selection of goods fall under the hammer, ranging from skiing posters to antique garden statuary.
A particular gorgeous highlight includes a Louis XV ormolu-mounted amaranth, bois satine and floral-marquetry bombe commode by Pierre Flechy (below). It's expected to fetch £40,000 - 60,000 and will be sold at the 500 Years: Decorative Arts Europe auction in London.

However perhaps the most pre-eminent date in the calendar is the sale of Mrs Elias Vaes' private collection. Throughout her prolific life she amassed all sort of pieces and dedicated 20 rooms in her Rotterdam home to 20 different cultural periods – all of which will be up for auction.
